We brought it to the local veterinarian, and it’s recovering well. We’d really like to find its rightful owner.

It has a yellow head and pale grey body with bright orange cheeks.

Has started to sing a bit but is fairly quiet. Doesn’t step up (at least not to us).

Yellow Cockatiel with paler wings and orange cheek patches appeared on our front fence and made friends with my neighbour.

Very friendly and tame, rode around on her shoulder quite happily. It can fly; seems to have a claw or two missing.

Found Woonona East, Tuesday 7 December.

Male cockatiel, yellow/grey. He has one clipped wing as well as a couple of tail feathers. Very tame. Bald spot on one cheek patch.

FOUND 13TH NOVEMBER 2010 AT APPROX 4PM WHITE CORELLA PARROT. HAS YELLOW FEATHERS UNDERNEATH TAIL AND PINK AROUND BECK AREA. GREY COLOUR AROUND THE EYES.

BIRD IS BEING TAKEN CARE OF UNTIL FIND OWNER OR SUITABLE HOME FOR THIS BIRD. TRIED TO LAND ON MY HEAD YESTERDAY AFTERNOON OUT IN MY BACKYARD LOCATED AT CABOOLTURE.

He is very friendly and must be missed. We have him in a cage with food and water and are really hoping to track down his owner. Please call me if you are the owner or know who it is.
