This dear little bird has bought immense joy to us and we cannot bear to be without her…please if you know anything contact us. Please please ask anyone you know that has just gotten a bird where they got it from, she may be ours! Or if you see one wandering around on her own it could be her as they usually travel in groups and are not solitary birds. She probably won’t come to you but if you see her throw a towel over her and catch her that way. She cannot survive in the wild on her own so please help us find her.

Our rescued budgie is fretting for her as well as they were such great mates and kept each other company. A VERY generous reward is offered for her return.

She is partially flighted and may step up onto your hand.

She has special dietary needs and may require veterinary treatment if they aren’t met.

She has a mate who is constantly calling for her and we miss her quite terribly.

Please have a look in your garden for her. She may be hiding from a cat or a dog. She will be scared, as she isn’t used to being on her own in the wild. She is small, and bright yellow.

If you see her, in your garden, or while you’re out walking, or anywhere, please call me on urgently. She will be difficult to catch, but if she’s low or on the ground, try throwing a towel or blanket over her so she doesn’t fly away. She will not be able to survive for long in the wild.

He has a special diet requirement which makes it urgent for us to find him before he becomes unwell and most probably dies without fast intervention.

We lost him Fri Nov 25 in Mugga Way / Murraba Cres bush area on Tweed Heads hill, NSW.
He is tame and will try to fly onto your head first. He will never bite, just sometimes nibbles or nuzzles your hand / finger so offer your hand or finger for him to step onto, then you can gently lower him onto your shoulder or into a cage. Bub may try to sing the first few bars of Jingle Bells when content but he’s hopeless at it. Also says “Scratch – Scratch” and holds one leg out in front and opens and closes his claw as if giving a sermon. He may screech loudly if left alone as he loves human company and wants to get back home to his grieving 2 cockatiel mates.

Normal cockatiel birdseed and water, broccoli, corn will help nourish him in the first few days as an emergency feed if you find him. His favourite foods are peas and spaghetti which will do to get him renourished until we can get him back onto his normal special diet.

Charlie is a hand tamed grey (cinnamon) cockateil with white face, white marking on the back of his neck and white patches on his wings.

He wolf whistles clearly, among other whistles, and screeches.

He will come to food and sometimes to his name.

Flew out the door afternoon of 16/10/2011, his girlfriend is distressed.

Yellow with small patches of light yellow and white.

Does not like hands and will squawk a lot if held. Willingly sits on shoulders or head. If one hand offered gently she usually hops on.

Missing cockatiel – she went missing from Lennox street parramatta on Monday the 3rd October.

Grey with clipped wings. Sings and wolf whistles.

Miss her dearly and she is part of the family.

Last sighted at Panania in Sydney several weeks ago.

Joey is a pale grey cockatiel. Strong and healthy.

Wings unclipped.

Bright green with red beak and pink and black rings around his neck. Has a very long tail. He is hand-raised but somewhat wary of strangers.

He loves kisses and flicking his tongue in and out at you. He doesn’t like getting on your finger unless you have a towel on it.

Dylan is a female, 1 year old Eclectus parrot (red/maroon head with blue chest, red wings….. larger sized parrot similar in size to a Galah).

She escaped while being babysat in Mirador (near Merimbula/Bega) last week. She is very affectionate.
Can say hello and whistle a few different tunes.

I have no doubt she will seek company.

We live up in Canberra so am hoping someone down there can help us.

Brightly coloured lorikeet, very friendly and a much loved family pet went missing in the Richmond area on Saturday 20/08/11.

She needs a special diet and we all miss her terribly. She has a mate who has been fretting.

we are absolutely devastated and worried, the weather has been cold and raining and are hoping that someone has found him so he is safe. his name is kinsei (pronounced kens – eye) and is only 13 weeks old. kinsei is still handfeeding and if he is still out there it is crucial we get him back as he will only feed from me. all of us are very distressed and i’m sure he is too. very tame and friendly guy. we love him to bits and he’s part of the furniture.
